Jillian joined our practice in August 2010. She interviewed for a medical assistant position and is working towards her Biochemistry Degree. Since that time, she has helped us streamline our technology so that we can improve our services. At home, Jillian is busy raising her two young sons, and her husband; who has relocated to the US from New Zealand. We wish them both the very best as they begin this new adventure.

We were delighted to have Justin show up just when we needed to expand our supplements and shipping department. Aside from managing the entire shipping department, he is also in charge of buying and maintaining IV room and lab inventory. His educational background includes an Associate's Degree in Anthropology and is currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. In his off time, Justin enjoys anything outdoors, including an assortment of extreme sports. Most of all, he enjoys singing, playing guitar and performing with his reggae band, which can be seen at some of the local venue's around the bay area. We are not sure what all this young man will do in his life, but we anticipate great things. It is a pleasure having him on our staff.

them in-stock and available to patients. Ordering, receiving, quality control, and research are her focus areas, as well as placing
special orders for patients with unique needs.

She is both a teacher and a lifelong student of these healing arts, studying continuously since 1983 in North America, Europe and Asia. Mara brings her respect for the natural world to her work at GMA. She adds to this an a understanding of the healing nature of energy,
which she has learned from her foundation in movement arts and Taiji practice, as well as from assisting the amazing array of patients
who come to Gordon Medical Associates.
She feels truly lucky to have the privilege of working with Dr.Gordon for the past 10 years. When not at GMA, Mara can be found listening to music, walking in nature, and enjoying the company of friends and family.
Dr. Gordon had worked with Marilyn in the past, so it was no surprise when he first started Gordon Medical Associates, he asked her to join him. From the onset, Marilyn has been the balance and the support that has kept GMA going. In her 30+ years in the medical field, Marilyn has worked in nearly every aspect of medical administration. As Plant Manager, she works to keep us all supplied with what we need to get our jobs done. As supervisor of the Medical Assisting Department, she trains the MA's with a caring efficiency that patients and staff have come to rely on. She is often referred to as the Grace of GMA. In her free time, Marilyn enjoys spending time with her 3 grown daughters and her 2 grandchildren. She loves to read, garden, take walks with her dog Bluebelle, and be in the outdoors.
Marilyn has had a lifelong love affair with movement, energy flow and healing touch. She studied t'ai chi in Taiwan in the early '70s along with the Alexander Technique in London and the US. She has numerous certifications in cutting edge bodywork and energy healing modalities including Integrated Awareness®, Zero Balancing®, Reconnective Healing®, the SelfQuest Approach®, Matrix Energetics® and Adaptive Mechanisms®. She has taught classes and workshops nationwide and offers private sessions in the Bay Area. With 14 years of nursing experience, Marisa enjoys caring for patients at GMA because she feels like she is making a difference in a
unique way and is able to give a little "TLC" on a person’s journey to wellness. "Sometimes people come in who
have been through a lot physically and emotionally with an illness. They feel sick and sometimes apprehensive. I try to provide a
place in our IV room where they can take a deep breath, listen to some pleasant music and find a little hope. Often, our IV room is
a place where patients support and connect with each other. It’s wonderful to see." Marisa and her husband and family have
lived in Sonoma County for 9 years. She likes hiking, mountain biking in Annadel State Park, cooking, and getting lost in a
good book.
I have lived in Sonoma County for the last 30 years. I graduated from Herzing University with a certificate in Bookkeeping/Payroll Accounting in August of 2010. Prior to going back to school, I worked in Oakland for a medical group as their finance manager for 2+ years. In my younger years I worked several jobs in holistic medicine.
I am a mother of 4 wonderful boys and 2 beautiful daughters (collective family between me and my husband...just like Carol Brady!) I enjoy watching all of their sports but hockey is my favorite sport! I love to be active so I enjoy playing ice hockey myself as well as taking long walks on the beach, the adventure of a road trip or just hanging with my family and my two Dogs!
Even though I have only been at GMA for a short time I truly love the environment, the healing that I get to witness every day that our doctors provide to our patients and most of all I enjoy the support, encouragement and inspiration that I receive from my GMA work family.
Shawn joined our practice, accepting an entry level position in the records department. He quickly excelled and joined our reception team. He brings a wealth of enthusiasm and humor to the office, as he navigates his job. He will be reducing his hours as he starts his first year in college. Outside of the office he enjoys all kinds of outdoor fun, water sports and fast cars. We wish him the best in all of his life pursuits.
Stacey brings 15+ years of hands on experience working with professional athletes and acute injury as well as chronic pain patients. Her background includes working directly with practitioners in the care of their patients, and she enjoys the collaborative nature of GMA. Stacey is certified in many hands-on techniques, and relies heavily on her cranio-sacral, visceral and rolfing techniques. For more information on FSM treatment, please visit www.frequencyspecific.com or check with your GMA practitioner. In her free time Stacey enjoys hiking and spending time with her family in nature.
Susan’s background is in fine arts and body movement work. From 1982-1995 she worked as a physical therapist, specializing in
work with abused women. Struck with a sudden, debilitating illness, Susan initiated a search for her own healing. Wanting to share
what she was learning, she started an online Lyme Support group. The stories she heard from the participants in that group fed her
passion to see treatments improve for those suffering from chronic illness. In 2005, Dr. Gordon invited Susan to help Gordon Medical
Associates discover what types of treatments work best, by managing our clinical research.
A Jill-of-all-Trades, from phlebotomy to plumbing, Trina can take care of it. Since 2005, she’s covered shipping, the front desk,
repairs, filled in for Medical Assistants, and has mastered the art of blood draws. She enjoys the variety in her work at GMA, and
finds great satisfaction in being able to help our patients. Still, after all the excitement offered to her at Gordon Medical, Trina
is happy to go home each night to her husband and three beautiful children.
